     BlueCoast - Climate Smart Coastal Practices for Blue governance

 

BlueCoast involves the cooperation of Greece and Albania for the improvement of the conservation status of the loggerhead sea turtle Caretta caretta and the establishment of links to enable joint supporting actions for the coastal ecosystems resilience towards climate change.

The program area includes one of the most important breeding and nesting areas (Zakynthos, Greece) in the Mediterranean as well as several essential foraging/wintering areas (Albania).
